Pittsburgh Penguins Win Stanley Cup Title
THE cup was bless with the blood, tears and just about every other bodily fluid of hockey players in the last century. It by far the hardest trophy to win in pro sports. The NHL playoff last two whole months a team as to win 16 games that on top of an 80+ games season and they play an average of four games every week in the playoff.
In Football they get a week between games in Hockey they get a day and that if their no scheduling conflict if that the case they get the "pleasure" of playing two games in two nights! A playoff game last 60 regular minutes or whatever the time it take to score a goal in overtime and break a tie!
The Toronto Maple Leafs have not won the cup since 1967 and they still got one of the most fanatic fan base. Only surpassed by the religious fervor that inspire the Montreal Canadiens the Habs have not won the cup since 1993 that officially the longest cup drought in Montreal and Canada history. While Leafs fan are forgiving to the point of being pathetic Habs fans are going to nail Gainey to the Mont Royal Cross if he does not get RESULT SOON!
Hockey is serious business and THE Cup is the biggest symbol of Hockey excellence! Congratulation to the Pittsburgh Penguins for winning the grail enjoy this moment you have earn it.
